Terra Traverse Quebec will launch its first event October 4th- 10th, 2008. The first Terra Traverse event will include 75 four-person co-ed teams covering approximately 600 kilometers across the beautiful and stunning terrain of Quebec, Canada.

Terra Traverse will offer a cash purse of $100,000 including stage prizes and primes.

Terra Traverse and race directors Ian Adamson and Isaac Wilson, have teamed up to create a groundbreaking adventure. Combining the very best elements from previous events, Terra Traverseâ„¢ integrates aspects of traditional expedition racing, staged races, time trials and other new and exciting elements.

Billed as the Ultimate Urban Adventure Race for its uncanny ability to provide pure athleticism with thought-provoking strategy. The race is kept a secret until the start of the race. All you know is you and your 3- or 6-person team will run-bike-scoot/skate-trek-climb-paddle (and other crazy stuff) your away around the city doing amazing things and performing some creative stunts. We'll run about an hour, on trails, so come prepared for the weather and terrain (mud?) We start at 6:30 p.m. so don't be late. Meet at the parking lot at Upper McLeay, on Cornell Rd. (next door to the Audubon Society). Please RSVP so we'll know how many treats to bring for you tricksters.
