This is your complete Portland Oregon local community gathering location for all Adventure Racers. Whether you're an Elite team member, just starting out, or somewhere in between, this is the ultimate destination for you!

You may browse our information here, as an anonymous user. However, to fully experience all of the content, options, and features of this website, you will need to sign up for a user account. User accounts are easy to sign up for (just click on "Create new account" link in the login box to the left), and best of all - member accounts and benefits are all free! Please insure you use a valid email address, as your initial password will be emailed to you.

Please feel free to post any comments, questions, or general topics of discussion, using the "forum" link. If you have any stories about races you've attended, training events, or general information about AR, please submit a story, using the "submit" menu link.

Some notes about the main links on our website that may be of interest to you (located near the top of the page):

• forums -> a location for our members to discuss various topics about Adventure racing
• events -> a calendar system that will allow members to post and read about events for training, races, socials, meetings, etc...
• gallery -> a central location for members to post images about events (trainings, races, etc...) - each event gets it's own "gallery"
• polls -> you may access any and all available polls on the system through this link
• submit -> since this is a community driven web site, you may contribute content - to do so, please use the "submit" link, and select the kind of content you wish to submit, remember that all content will be moderated to insure it's relavent and not useless!
• news feeds -> syndicated content from other Adventure Racing related websites is available to our members to read via the "news feeds" link

In addition to the main site navigation links, each of the different content types (eg. "forums", "stories", "events", etc...) may have additional features available to them. These allow you to make comments, edit, add images, etc... to the content. To understand them a little better, here are some of the features and a quick description of what they do:

• "administer" -> if you are the owner of a story or content, select this link (in the lower portion of the box) to edit, change, delete, or modify content
• "read more" -> if a story is very long, a story "teaser" may be presented in the original block (especially when it gets posted to the front page), then the full content of the story is available when you click on the "read more" link
• "comments" -> if a content type and your user level privaleges allow it, you may make comments on stories, forums, events, etc... Please note that "comments" are public and everyone will be able to view your comments

Last - and probably most significant - This is a community driven website! The more you interact, submit, comment, etc, the better it will get! We need your help in building an excellent site! If you have any questions or comments about the website, let us know!. Thank you!
