I have received a number of questions regarding the 10% team discount available to PDX AR members for the upcoming RAID race in Bend Oregon on June 24-26.

Specifically, YES you must add /PDXAR to your team name when registering to get the discount. This is a requirement from Elise at the RAID organization so she can tell who gets the discount and knows to set it up properly.

 It is also good advertising for the club to have all the teams showing this addition. Good publicity means we can get more deals in the future like this or better. Think of the impact of close to half the field associated with one club and how race directors will want to get involved with that!  If that doesn't work for you, think of it as us paying you $120 (at current exchange rates) to include our name on the end of your team name...

I urge all team members on teams receiving this discount to take 2 minutes and join the club if you are not currently a member. Technically all teammates should be members to receive the discount. It is free and we do have a ton of benefits so it is a great way to stay current and maximize your opportunities.

Lastly, I am requesting all teams who register via this discount to e-mail me your team name and members names so we can track the results of this benefit and insure all goes well.
