Welcome to The Big Blue Adventure Series!

Due to the success of the inaugural Tahoe Big Blue Adventure Race, Seventh Wave Productions is proud to announce that we’ve added three more events to this year’s Adventure Racing season! .

The Big Blue Adventure Series is comprised of four multi-sport races in which teams and individuals participate and compete in kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, orienteering, navigation, high ropes skills and other disciplines. Join us for great adventure, awesome locations and an all around good time!

The Big Blue Adventure Series, with an average finishing time of 8 hours format, will challenge the seasoned adventure racer and provide those new to Adventure Racing with an opportunity to participate and succeed in this exciting sport! Each event is designed such that participating teams will complete the race with times ranging from 6 to 12 hours.

The courses of The Big Blue Adventure Series offer an authentic Adventure Racing experience. Highlighting the diverse and varied natural terrain and geographic regions of Eastern Nevada and Northern California, each is designed to challenge the adventure racer while showcasing some of the most beautiful recreational regions unique to these areas. You will experience the high desert and Eastern Sierra of Reno, Nevada, conquer the rolling golden hills and reservoirs of the San Francisco Bay Area, survive the rugged Pacific Coast of Northern California and complete the series in breathtaking Lake Tahoe where the Sierra Nevada plays host to the finale of the series.
