In 1992, French professional mountain guide Alain Gaimard created Saga d'Aventures s.a., a parent company to Arcs Aventures. The company now counts some 70 staff specialised in the organisation and management of international outdoor sport events. The company expertise resides in its people: Sports marketing and brand management specialists Professional mountain guides Professional white water guides Specialists handling the logistics Alain Gaimard and his team have been in charge of the race set-up, the security and the race management for the Raid Gauloises since the first edition back in 1989. Saga d'Aventures also created and managed the X-adventure for Salomon since 1998.
