Hi Gang,

We are implementing a 2-3 hour Sprint Race as part of the CROC
"Play-in-the-Woods" Expo on April 21, 2007 at Champeog State Park.

Race will include orienteering, trail running, biking and POSSIBLY a water
element. Length will be 2-3 hours.

Divisions will be 2/3/4 person teams. NO ENTRY FEE, THIS IS A FREE RACE!

Gear list will follow, but expect a MINIMUM Mandatory Gear list, since the
emphasis is on MAXIMUM participation.

Bring your team, your curious friends, your family, or whomeever and have
a great time getting your feet wet while you work out any details in your
upcoming race season...

DETAILED Announcement will follow, probably around the second week of
April, but mark your calendars now...

RSVP is MANDATORY for participation and can only be done by e-mailing me
directly

RSVP'S Should include Names/Age/Sex of all teammembers and a contact phone
number for the team Captain.

taevans	*	Maybe	I am a newbie to AR, the closest I have come to it is the clackamas river runoff. I would like to get one other friend of mine and sign up for this event, but am not sure if what gear I will need for it and it's good for a newbie. Can you let me know your thoughts on gear and skills needed. Thanks, Todd
